Veteran Services

These are a few of the many services we offer to Veterans. We add services as needed, so check back often.

VA Disability Review

We are more than happy to review the current case of any VA rated Veterans. One of our consultants will walk with you step by step to determine the potential for increased disability compensation and/or medical care. As we say at LC, the answer is always no if you don't ask. Reach out through our contact sheet and let us know you are looking for assistance with your disability claims process and/or current rating.

VA Disability Claims Processing

Whether you have previously filed a claim, are looking to file for an increase or add disabilities that you failed to apply for, LC can assist. Click the "Contact Us" button at the bottom of the page and let us know you would like to file a claim. One of our consultants will reach out to you within 24 hours to walk you through our process and get you started.

FMP - Foreign Medical Program - Enrollment/Update

Requires enrollment. For eligible Veterans living or traveling abroad, VA offers medical services through the Foreign Medical Program (FMP). Through this program, FMP will pay for health care services and medications for service-connected conditions and conditions. Contact us if you would like to enrol or have any questions on how to use the program. Many Veterans residing overseas who have service connected disabilities are unaware of the program or do not know how to use it or where to go. We can help navigate the entire process to include providing you the names of hospitals that direct bill the VA which means no up front out of pocket costs when treated for service connected disabilities.

Tricare Assistance - Where/How to use (Hospitals that direct bill)

Where/How To Use (Hospitals That Direct Bill) - Facebook Groups "Tricare around the world", "Tricare Overseas" and "Tricare in the Philippines" are good resources with valuable information and links directly to tricare.mil. There are links to Preferred and Certified Physicians by location. Preferred and Certified physicians are the only Tricare approved for reimbursement or direct bill. One key item to remember when traveling overseas is to check for hospitals that are preferred. Those hospitals have the ability to direct bill tricare which means less out of pocket expense for you. Please contact us for any further info and assistance. We would be more than happy to help you search for preferred/certified providers and hospitals in the area you are visiting or residing overseas.

Last Will and Testament

No actions can erase the pain you feel after losing a family member or loved one. Getting your financial and legal affairs in order can be a small step in the right direction and can provide some peace of mind during this difficult time. Every veteran should have a valid Will to ensure their wishes are carried out after death and their loved ones are protected. We will educate on the importance of this document to the veteran for their family. We can also assist with Wills that include a Living Medical Will and final arrangements.

Burial and Memorial

Veterans have dedicated their lives to serving our country and protecting our freedoms. Life Change will assist every fallen Veteran's family in navigating the process to ensure their Veteran is given prestigious military honors and sendoff.

Enrollment with VA Manila

Veterans who have a rating with the VA and who relocate to the Philippines should contact VA Manila shortly after arrival to accomplish the following:
1) Notify VA Manila that you have moved to the Philippines and VA Manila will now be your assigned VA,
2) Schedule an initial visit/physical with VA Manila. During this physical, the attending Physician will set up all medication requirements through the VA Manila Pharmacy and will get you set up for your annual/semi-annual appointments.

Transportation to VA Manila

If you reside in the Clark/Angeles City area and need transportation to VA Manila we can help. We have drivers who will drop you off at the front door of the VA for your appointment and pick you up at the door when your appointment is complete. Contact us more for more information via the "contact us" button at the bottom of the page.

Chapter 35 - Education Benefit for Dependents (Spouse/Children) - Enrollment/Use

Chapter 35 VA Benefits, also known as the Dependents Educational Assistance (DEA) program, is an education benefit for eligible spouses and children (dependents) of certain veterans. We will guide the eligible spouse and children through the process and will provide a list of VA accredited schools that meet the needs and desires of the Veteran's Dependent(s).

VA DIC (Dependency and Indemnity Compensation)

DIC will probably be one of the most important if not the most important part of an eligible survivor’s long-range financial planning. It is paid to eligible survivors of active-duty service members and survivors of those veterans whose deaths are determined by the VA to be service-related. Our mission doesn't stop after the veteran has passed away. We will keep working for our veterans and their families to make sure they get all the help they need.
